Sleeping

My Sleeping System:

I will be traveling thru almost all climate zones and a good sleep is very important.

One sleeping bag for all temperatures does not exist. A sleeping bag is only good for a narrow temperature spread.

So I came up with this combination:

Sleeping system bag

.

1. Isolating mattress :  exped synmat 7 with pump

exped synmat 7

Size:  183 x 52 x 7 cm  /  72 x 20 x 2,8″

packed:    21 x 15 cm   /   8 x 6″

Temperature:   -17° C   /   1,4° F

To fill the mat with the integrated pump takes about 2 minutes.

.

2. Silk liner :  Mammut Ajungilak Silk Liner Mummy

For hot climate I can use only the silk liner.
The synthetic sleeping bag can be opened and used as a blanked.
For very low temperatures I put the silk liner into the down sleeping bag and then both into the synthetic sleeping bag.
